01 · Why Boston

Labs, companies and universities, minutes apart.

That's why OCE happens in person. Across Greater Boston, universities, research institutes, hospitals, tech companies and startup hubs sit a short ride from each other, with Kendall Square in Cambridge at the center. The AI+X Global Talent Community grew out of this neighborhood.

02 · How it works

One project. One pathway.

Mornings, you work on one AI+X project with an international team. Afternoons, you explore research or industry up close. Shared workshops and a final showcase bring it together.

Choose your afternoon pathway

A

Pathway A

Research Exploration

How do researchers turn a question into a study?

  • Small-group conversations with researchers
  • Workshops on research papers and peer review
  • A research institution exchange or related activity
Good fit: you're thinking about a research paper, graduate study or an academic path.
B

Pathway B

Industry Exploration

How do technical ideas become useful products and businesses?

  • Small-group conversations with engineers and founders
  • Workshops on robotics startups and AI biotech

The main event

Global AI+X Summit 2027

Present your work to people working in the field.

Professors, researchers, engineers, founders, investors and students from across Boston–Cambridge and universities worldwide. Students present their own research, models or prototypes, so people in the field can see their methods, results and individual contribution.

The February summit falls during Session 1 and the July summit during Session 2. Sessions 3 and 4 feature project showcases and professional exchange instead. Final program and speakers announced separately.
